For the first article, go to www.usatoday.com or some other site that posts daily world events and find an article of interest about something that is going on in the world. You may also choose to go to a network news site such as www.msnbc.com.
For the second article, go to www.ksl.com or another state paper and find an article of interest about something that is going on in our state.
For the third article, you can choose to do an event from the world, state, or city. If you choose to do our city, go to www.sltrib.com or www.deseretnews.com (can search by town) and find an article of interest about something that is going on in our town.

Twitter: Hackers hit 250,000 accounts

Twitter confirmed Friday that it had become the latest victim in a number of high-profile cyber-attacks against media companies. They said that hackers may have gained access to information on 250,000 of its more than 200 million active users. The social media giant said in a blog posting that earlier this week it detected attempts to gain access to its user data. It shut down one attack moments after it was detected. But it discovered that the attackers may have stolen user names, email addresses and encrypted passwords belonging to 250,000 users. Twitter reset the pilfered passwords and sent emails advising affected users.

I thought the 250,000 people is the most interesting part of this article. Bob Lord, Head of information of security says,"This was not the work of amateurs, and we do not believe it was an isolated incident." How does this current event affect your life? Is the change positive or negative? (2-3 sentences) There are people who can steal your identity. Even big social networks can be hacked. People find out ways to get into big social networks.
